For about the last year, when I meet new fans at shows, the comment I hear the most is some variation of "I found out about you on Pandora". I really, really love this, because, I too am a huge Pandora fan. A lot of the bands I listen to the most these days are bands I first heard on Pandora when I started listening five or so years ago. It's genius. Plug in a band you like, and be exposed to other bands with a similar melody, mood, musicality, or focus on lyrics within the same genre. Like blue-based metal? Black Sabbath can end up taking you to Graveyard, a great Scandavian metal band. And now, thanks to Pandora's comedy genome, some incredible equation that links artists with similar comedic stylings, if you like John Mulaney, Chad Daniels, Matt Braunger, or Louis CK, you'll eventually be exposed to me. Hell yes. Don't like my stuff? Keep thumbing it down, and I go away. Love it? Keep thumbing me up, or, even better, go to my artist profile, like me, and create a Dan Cummins Pandora station. So simple, and the best kind of exposure I could hope for. If you've already done that - thank you! You directly encourage me and motivate to create more jokes and stories, and fuel my ambition to expand 40,000 fans into 100,000 and then 1,000,000 and more. I want to reach as many people as possible who like what I do, and what I like to do is record comedy albums. If you haven't already done so, click here, and start enjoying Pandora for yourself. Keep letting me know you're listening, and I'll keep trying to get funnier.
