The Tonight Show with Conan and Dan

First, thanks to all of you who watched my debut performance on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien this past Wednesday night, November 25th.  I had a great time and I felt good about my jokes!  Sure, that studio audience could’ve fired up some applause a little earlier in the 5 minutes I was allotted, but, the laughs were there the whole time, and they came on strong in the 2nd half.  Much better than vice versa.  Here, watch for yourself, and feel free to leave a gratuitous comment.  Thanka you!

The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien!

Okay, I never really watched stand-up comedy growing up, other than coming across some accidentally on HBO in the middle of the night hoping to find a movie with nudity or BN (brief nudity), listening to some Andrew Dice Clay tape a friend had, or, watching Eddie Murphy’s Delirious and thinking it was the funniest thing I’d ever seen. I watched sketch comedy. However, I ended up falling into stand-up instead, and after a couple of years, I set four main stand-up goals. I wanted to perform at the Montreal Comedy Festival, on either Letterman or The Tonight Show, to have a One Hour Comedy Special, and to have enough fans to pack small theaters around the country. Well, I’ve performed at Montreal two different years now, I just taped an hour special, and now, on the day before Thanksgiving, November 25th, I will appear on the Tonight Show WITH my favorite late night host, Conan O’Brien. So pumped!! So, please watch, and let me know what you think. Looking forward to setting some new goals now that will help me achieve that last one with the theaters :)

“Revenge is Near” at Best Buy

Unbelievable.  I can’t believe I have a CD IN STORES!  I can’t tell you how surreal it felt seeing my CD on the shelf next to George Carlin.  Ridiculous.  Unfortunately, Best Buy has a very limited comedy section in certain locations, so, I am not carried at all of their retail outlets.  You can order it off their website if you can’t find it at your local branch.  Unreal.

Comedy Central taping – thank you!!

I just wanted to thank everyone who attended the taping of my first One Hour Special at the Bing Crosby Theater in Spokane, Washington on October 17th.  I also want to thank everyone who couldn’t make it – sold out show!!  It was a great night, and although I didn’t get to watch his show, I heard Juston Mckinney was fantastic.  I was really happy with the show – the set looked great, the audience was incredible, and, I don’t think I messed up any of my jokes.  And the standing ovation was the icing on the joke cake.  I also want to thank Dan Kleckner at Q6, Luke Baumgartner at the Inlander, Jim Kershner at the Spokesman Review, and Greg Mills at 99.9 The River for all going out of their way to promote the show.  When I find out an air date, I will let everybody know.  Also, I will get my calendar updated on this site soon.  Sorry – I have been so busy!!!!!!

Comedy Central Hour Special taping tickets available Saturday!!

That’s right, two exclamation points. This shit is exciting.  I am taping my first One Hour Special for Comedy Central October 17th at the Bing Crosby Theater, in Spokane, Washington, at 7PM.  If enough tickets are sold, a second show will also be added.  Tickets go on sale this Saturday, August 15th, right here: http://www.livenation.com/edp/eventId/411182 Tickets will be $15, and, you actually get to be part of the filming of two hour specials – fellow comic Juston McKinney will also be taping his first hour special the same night.  This is the first time any stand-up comedy special has been taped in Spokane, let alone two.  Hope to see you there!!
